The app "Wendland OnDemand" is the information, booking and payment app for flexible local public transport in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. The transport service can reach all locations in Wendland and can be used at almost any time of day. Anyone who orders an on-demand journey will be sent a vehicle. On the way to the destination of the journey, other passengers can hop on if their boarding points are on the route. This means that the on-demand vehicle can be used efficiently.

The on-demand journeys supplement bus services throughout the district. In contrast to conventional taxi journeys, they can only be used if no bus connection can be offered within an hour or if there is no bus connection at all.

Für eine Fahrt bei “Wendland OnDemand” wird ein Busticket für den gesamten Landkreis Lüchow-Dannenberg und zusätzlich ein Aufpreis für die OnDemand-Fahrt berechnet. So kostet z.B. ein Tagesticket für das ganze Wendlandnetz 6,00 Euro (ermäßigt 3,50 Euro), der Aufpreis für die OnDemand-Fahrt beträgt 2,00 Euro (ermäßigt 1,00 Euro).

Door-to-door service is also offered in OnDemand transport for a further surcharge of 5.00 euros. This service is free of charge for the severely disabled.

Eure kostenlosen Jugendtickets gelten übrigens nicht beim OnDemand-Verkehr. Wenn ihr ein kostenloses Ticket habt, müsst ihr 3,50 Euro plus 1,00 Euro für die OnDemand-Fahrt bezahlen.

Das Angebot gilt jeden Tag von frühmorgens bis um 20 Uhr abends. Die Uhrzeiten morgens variieren leicht, je nachdem, ob die Fahrten unter der Woche oder am Wochenende gebucht werden.

An den Wochentagen Montag bis Freitag fahren die OnDemand-Fahrzeuge von 05:00 Uhr bis 20 Uhr, am Samstag von 06:00 bis 20:00 Uhr und am Sonntag von 08:00 Uhr bis 20:00 Uhr.

An allen Tagen können Buchungen bis zu 90 Tage im Voraus getätigt werden. Aber auch kurzfristige Ad-Hoc-Buchungen sind möglich. Ebenso wird gegen einen Aufpreis eine Haustürbedienung angeboten. The following applies: journeys that are required early in the morning between 05:00 and 08:00 must be booked by 20:00 the day before.
