6 pedelecs & 2 e-cargo bikes to borrow free of charge thanks to funding project
The funding project aims to increase the use of (cargo) bicycles or pedelecs for short and medium distances in rural areas and to reduce the use of cars. Information on the joint project, the cycle priority routes or the bicycle boxes can be found at here.
One component of this project is the free loan of e-bikes and pedelecs for a period of up to four weeks. The loan period should start at the beginning of the month and end at the end of the month. We hope that you will be able to test ride your rental bike extensively and gain experience with the bicycle.
Our rental bikes
A total of 8 test bikes, including 6 pedelecs and two e-load bikes, are available to you as a citizen:in for 4-week loan. By the way, if you are interested, we also rent out children's bikes and a bicycle trailer!
At the beginning of the loan period, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire about your mobility behaviour. This is followed by two surveys, one at the end of the loan period, another after one year.

Seagull
City e-bike with low step-through for comfortable city and country rides. Suitable for riders between 165 and 190 cm tall.

A compact e-bike with a short wheelbase - ideal for the city and for small parking spaces. Suitable for riders between 160 and 185 cm tall.

Compact cargo bike with large loading area for shopping and luggage. Load capacity up to 70 kg. Suitable for heights from 160 cm to 195 cm.

Cargo bike for transporting children & small luggage. Seat belts, bench seat for 2 children & rain cover. Load capacity up to 70 kg. Suitable for body heights: 165 - 195 cm.
Our children's hire bikes
What do the kids do when mum or dad goes to the DIY store to buy heavy things, for example, on a cargo e-bike? It's obvious: you're coming along, of course! And for that too, we lend out a total of 7 bikes and a child trailer with optional baby hammock, also for four weeks.
They can be rented in combination with one of our e-bikes and of course also individually. This way, children between 3 months and 6 years can always be with you.
