Public transport does not include all parts of the municipality and often runs every hour or at longer intervals. The transfer possibilities are not designed for individual needs due to the weak structure.

Taxi fares are often unaffordable due to the longer distances involved. The citizen mobiles offer a solution here: The ZernienMobil, the BergenMobil and the Neu Darchau Mobil organise trips to the doctor, to therapy or to hospital, visits to the hospital or to the doctor's surgery.
