In particular, elderly people, people in need of help and other fellow human beings without their own vehicle are dependent on public transport in the district: Bus, train and/or taxi.
Public transport does not include all parts of the municipality and often runs every hour or at longer intervals. The transfer possibilities are not designed for individual needs due to the weak structure.

Taxi fares are often unaffordable due to the longer distances involved. The citizen mobiles offer a solution here: The ZernienMobil, the BergenMobil and the Neu Darchau Mobil organise trips to the doctor, to therapy or to hospital, visits to the hospital or to the doctor's surgery.

District-wide association LüDa Mobil
The association "LüDa Mobil" is intended to make it easier for communities in the district to offer a transport service for senior citizens and people in need of help without the administrative burden of founding an association. It serves as an umbrella organisation for corresponding initiatives.
The association promotes the mobility of residents of the Lüchow-Dannenberg district who are in need of assistance. This is done by selflessly supporting people who are dependent on the help of others due to their physical, mental or psychological condition.
