The mobiCard - for discounted travel on public transport
With the new Wendland tariff from 1 October 2023, the "mobiCard" has been introduced. Cardholders can now use price group 2 of the new fare system at a discount of up to 50%. People who receive transfer benefits are eligible.
Who is entitled to the mobiCard?
People who receive one of the following transfer benefits can apply for a mobiCard from the district of Lüchow-Dannenberg, Fachdienst 60, with appropriate proof:
- Basic income support according to SGB XII
- Citizen's income according to SGB II
- Child supplement
- Housing benefit
- Benefits under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (AsylbLG)
- Assistance with living expenses according to SGB XII
What advantages do I get with the mobiCard?
The mobiCard entitles the holder to purchase tickets in price group 2 of the Wendland Tariff of LSE GmbH. This also applies to the annual tickets, which can be purchased online at www.mobil-im-wendland.de/verbindung-tarife/ can be applied for. Depending on the type of ticket selected, you will thus receive up to approx. 50 % discount compared to price group 1.

The mobiCard is free of charge.
Where can I apply for the mobiCard?
You can send this application by post to the Mobility Agency Wendland.Elbe, Amtshof 1, 29439 Lüchow (Wendland) or by e-mail to mobilitaet@luechow-dannenberg.de. Alternatively, you can hand in the application in person at the Mobility Agency Wendland.Elbe in the glass pavilion at the bus station in Lüchow. Please remember to enclose a copy of the relevant proof and your identity card.

When will I receive my mobiCard?
The processing time is approximately 2 weeks from receipt of the application by the Mobility Agency Wendland.Elbe. Please note that we have no influence on delays in the post.
