Since last year, the district of Lüchow-Dannenberg has been working with the joint municipalities, the GIS office for cartography and the state road construction authority to draw up a plan showing where it would make sense to install a charging point in Wendland. The state road construction authority has also declared Wendland a model region.
The aim here is to develop an exemplary charging infrastructure concept for the rural region.
According to the plan, several hundred charging points are to be set up by 2030 to improve the supply of electric vehicles in Lüchow-Dannenberg.
The future mobility stations should also be taken into account in the charging infrastructure concept.
Charging infrastructure concept
The charging infrastructure concept for Lüchow-Dannenberg has been finalised. We are delighted about this further milestone for mobility. You can view and download the concept using the button below.
Advantages
- The expansion follows a concept and has a goal (strategic expansion)
- Initial overview of charging point requirements until 2030
- Development of knowledge for districts and municipalities
- Effective cooperation between the state, district and municipalities
- Basis for political decisions and practical implementation
- Important for the utilisation of subsidies
- Further concepts can be developed on this basis
Charging infrastructure concept
The locations identified are generally suitable and potentially realisable locations for public charging infrastructure (charging points). The actual implementation, the actual construction of public charging infrastructure depends on many factors, so that there may be changes, shifts, mergers and the like at the locations favoured in the concept.
The charging infrastructure concept:
- records the need to expand the charging infrastructure for passenger car transport by 2030
- shows the development, the procedure and the results of the co-operation
- focuses on achieving the climate targets in the transport sector by 2030
