Important information on school bus transport
The new school year starts next Monday. Unfortunately, all updated timetables for school transport can only be published at short notice. The district administration asks for your understanding and is working on publishing the necessary information as quickly as possible.
With the introduction of the new Wendland network in June, part of the school transport service was removed from the local public transport system. This has also resulted in a significant increase in workload as, in addition to the regular public transport network (Wendland network with school transport on the main and secondary routes), the exempted school transport must now also be planned with the individual bus companies.
The first timetables for the exempted school transport service are already available at: www.wendlandmobil.de/fahrplanauskunft published. All timetables should be available at weekends. The timetables for exempt school transport can be adjusted accordingly if necessary.
There is also a telephone information service for school transport at weekends. This is available on Saturday and Sunday from 06:00 to 20:00 on 05841- 977 313.
